Profusamente ilustrado com mais de cem reproduções a preto e branco de elevada qualidade, de pinturas e algumas esculturas de artistas franceses do século XVIII, sobre folhas de papel de linho muito encorpado e protegidas por folhas de papel vegetal com as legendas explicativas.
