This is an album of beautiful pictorial representations based on the drawings of Robert James Elliot, who travelled from 1822 to 1824 through India, Canton (Guangzhou) and the Red Sea region. They are accompanied by the writing of Emma Roberts (1794 - 1840), an English travel writer and poet who lived in India for several years.
